What is Hunter’s Heroes?

Hunter’s Heroes is a memorial run in honor of fallen Deputy William Mast Jr. Hunter Mast is the son of the late Deputy Mast and wife, Paige. On July 26th, 2012 family and friends, the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office, and the community of Watauga County were devastated by the loss of Deputy Mast. That day marked the rise of a hero that will never be forgotten. Hunter’s Heroes sole purpose is to show support and remembrance to the family of Deputy Mast. The first annual Hunter’s Heroes memorial run will be held on June 8th, 2013. Proceeds from the memorial run will go towards The Hunter Mast Scholarship Fund.
Hunter’s Heroes Sponsoring Community Pasta Dinner for Peyton Townsend:
The pasta dinner will be used towards the Lilly Grace College Fund. Peyton Elizabeth Townsend, 4 1/2 years old, Ran into Jesus’ arm on 06-08-2012. She left this world laughing and playing with her sister. We will be having a pasta dinner on Friday night, June 7th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Greenway Baptist Church Family Life Center. The menu includes spaghetti, choice of marinara or meat sauce, bread, salad, choice of a homemade dessert and drink. Silent Auction will be open from 2pm-7:30pm on June 7th at Greenway Baptist Church Family Life Center.
And this event is not just for runners of the Hunter’s Heroes Memorial Run! Anyone can partake and have a great dinner with friends and family! Invite your friends!
